Dr. Sonny Kohli is a Canadian Internist and Critical care physician, faculty at McMaster University, and founding faculty at SingularityU Canada. His desire to improve access to healthcare – deepened by his global volunteer experiences – inspired him to lead a team called Cloud DX in the Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE competition, ultimately winning the “Bold Epic Innovator” award for their Vitaliti solution. Cloud DX is now a Kitchener-based company utilizing unique sensors and raw data analytics to tackle grand challenges in health care. He is formerly a Canadian Space Agency astronaut candidate, trained Flight Surgeon and alumnus of the International Space University, where he helped deploy the IRIS study on the ISS.
