Guelph Family Health Team

Ross Kirkconnell is the Executive Director of the Guelph Family Health Team, working with a team of over 300 primary care physicians, clinicians and other professionals to advance collaborative primary care in Guelph supporting 120,000 patients with approximately 2,800 patient visits every day.

For the past 10 years at Guelph FHT, with a vision for team-based primary care for the whole community, Ross has worked closely with community health care and civic organizations to develop partnerships and integrate services in Guelph.

Ross is a key member of the leadership team for the Guelph and Area Ontario Health Team, recently approved by the Ministry of Health

Ross has worked in local and provincial leadership positions in the Ontario health care system for the past 30 years.  Over those years, Ross has been a champion for healthy communities, underscoring the importance of relationships in our work and the value of collaborative leadership.
