Kai Lakhdar

Kai Lakhdar is a Partner at Strategy&, PwC’s strategy consulting practice. He is a seasoned strategist with depth of experience across the healthcare continuum. Kai recently helped establish an international technology startup focused on corporate wellness. Before that he led an advisory practice at KPMG assuming various Canadian and global appointments. He brings a wealth of health and life sciences experience spanning the drug coverage, health services, public & private payers, retail health, digital health, pharma, diagnostic labs/imaging, and healthcare private equity sectors. Kai has worked with a broad range of public and private sector organizations across the globe on corporate strategy, transformation, due diligence and operations improvement engagements. Kai has worked on more than 100 engagements in more than 15 countries, with past roles in London, Milan, and across Canada.

Over the past 9 months, Kai has acted as the nationally recognized PwC Chief COVID-19 Analyst, supporting business planning and more than 100 clients in navigating the underlying health, social and economic implications of COVID-19 across Federal, Provincial, corporate and investor clients in Canada and globally. This work included the PPE, Contact Tracing, Testing and Vaccine government responses, as well as a variety of economic issues.

Kai holds Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Engineering with a focus on Management Science from University College London, UK.  Kai sits on the Board of Home Care provider, CANES Community Care in Ontario, and is a mentor for Healthcare startups at MaRS Discovery District.
